Drip Culture Infrared Saunas & Cold Plunge at 4477 Main Street in Waitsfield, Vermont is the Mad River Valley’s most beloved infrared sauna and community wellness destination — a vibrant, welcoming space that has become a genuine “third place” for the Valley’s active, wellness-oriented community since opening in 2023. Founded by Warren residents Shannon Hottinger and Nikki Neal — homeschooling mothers who discovered infrared sauna’s profound effects during their own healing journeys — Drip Culture was built with a deliberate community mission: to create a social wellness space where people can heal, connect, and be together in the way that COVID-19’s isolation made painfully rare.

The studio’s three private Clearlight infrared sauna rooms are equipped with chromotherapy panels (customizable colored light therapy), Bluetooth music connectivity, essential oil diffusers, and cold towels — creating a genuinely sensory wellness experience. An outdoor cold plunge recently added in 2024 completes the contrast therapy circuit. Unlike many silent, meditative sauna environments, Drip Culture actively welcomes conversation, community, and children — reflecting the founders’ belief that social connection is itself a healing force. Healthy snacks, cold herbal tonics, and a comfortable lounge complete the experience.
